Anonymous asked: Is anyone in your family tall? Or the same height as you? Im 18 and 111pounds 5'9. Moms side is tall and thin, so im hoping for a final growth spurt. ,have you gotten taller and gained weight since being a teen

My teen years were so long ago, but let me try to remember! When I was in high school, 15-18, I was around 5’6 and about 100 pounds. Since then, I’ve grown a couple of inches, however, my weight has pretty much remained the same. Just recently have I noticed a few extra pounds on me. I’m currently weighing in at 117 pounds. It all has to do with age and metabolism. I can also say   I’m not much of an eater (not because of an eating disorder, I just have a small appetite)

Family-wise, it was the same story for my father, as he was 5’10 and had a 27 inch waist for most of his life until he hit his 30s.

IT took a long time to accept my body for how it was. Trust me when I say there will always be someone who appreciates the way you look.

For a while, I had a complex about my weight and not feeling like a “man” since my other friends were pretty average in their weight. Now I don’t let those things bother me. We don’t all grow at the same rate.

For now, just eat healthy and you should be fine.
